An estimated three million people have been left homeless after massive floods swamped hundreds of villages in northern India.

In the wake of this natural disaster, Al Jazeera's Anar Virji reports from India's Bihar state where many poor families have resorted to selling their children into bond slavery as a mean to survival. (September 17, 2008)
